It depends on the size of the space and how much prep work the walls need. A single room is usually a one-day job. A full house interior — multiple rooms, ceilings, trim — typically runs two to four days. We'll give you a realistic timeline during the estimate so you can plan around it.

We handle moving and covering furniture as part of the job. You don't need to clear the room in advance. We use drop cloths and plastic sheeting to protect floors and anything we're working around, and we put everything back when we're done.

Prep is where the job is either done right or cut short. We fill cracks and holes, sand rough spots, spot-prime bare areas, and tape off trim and edges before any paint goes on. In older homes especially, skipping prep is what leads to peeling within a year or two — we don't skip it.

Yes. After 30 years working across Decatur, Virginia-Highlands, and the older neighborhoods of metro Atlanta, we've painted just about every surface condition there is — plaster, skim coat, textured drywall, original wood trim. We'll assess the surface during the estimate and tell you what prep it needs before we quote the job.
